MSTUN, the Middle School Attached to Nanchang University, is one of the key schools with a long history in Jiangxi province, the construction of which has been ranked among the first as High-quality Project. The school is appointed as a “ School Base for Chinese International Promotion” by the Government of P. R. C..

Located within the campus of Nanchang University filled with strong academic atmosphere and in the city of Nanchang (the capital city of Jiangxi Province) known for its abundance in natural and human resources, the school boasts of its
beautiful scenery and quiet environment, which is characterized by well-arranged high buildings, big green trees, singing birds, fragrant flowers, glistering lakes and quiet paths on the campus.

By way of sharing the rich teaching and education resources with Nanchang University, seeking support from the government and speeding up its own construction work, the school's environment and conditions have been greatly improved. With the first-grade teaching and education resources, the school now meets all the national standards set for key schools.

There are more than 3500 students and 200 teachers in the school campus. A great number of excellent students have been fostered for home and abroad since the school was established.

In recent years, the school especially values international exchanges and cooperation. The school has concluded agreements with the sister schools in German, French，Japan, Korea and other countries to organize teachers and students to go abroad to carry on the education interview and cultural exchanges; to offer the foreign students the short or medium Chinese training，etc. In 2007, the school was pointed as “ School Base for Chinese International Promotion” by the Government of P. R. C.. It is the base for foreign students to learn Chinese Language. The base can also help the foreign high schools to set up the Chinese language courses and accept the Chinese language teachers training. The teaching facilities in " Base" are advanced. The curriculum is reasonable and the teachers have an excellent level of professional teaching qualities .The base can provide the board and lodging. The accommodation facilities are supplied here. Having the abilities and conditions, the school will recruit the international middle school students of Chinese language from this September.

Length of school:

A school year is divided into two semesters: the first semester starts on September 1st and concludes around the end of January. The 2nd semester begins in February and ends in late June. The summer vacation spans from July to August, and winter vacation is three weeks around the Spring Festival. Other holidays include: five days for Christmas, one day for New Year’s Day, the holiday period for Labor Day and the National Day is subject to notification from the Government.

Fees:

Application fee : RMB 500

Tuition fee: RMB 10000 per semester

Miscellaneous fee: RMB 3000 per semester

Boarding fee: RMB 2500 per semester

Book and reading material fee: RMB 800 per semester.

Catering: RMB 2000 per semester

Boarding deposit: RMB 1000 (after leaving check, return back)

Urgent affair deposit: RMB 2000 (if no urgent spending, return back when the course finished)

Programs Offered to New Students

To satisfy the need of various foreign students, we offer the following programs:

1. Chinese Training Courses:

A. Beginning: Offered to the students aged more than 12 who have not learned any Chinese or those who are still weak at the Chinese language.

B. Intermediate: Offered to the students aged more than 12 who have mastered more than 1000 Chinese characters and pass our Placement Test of Chinese Language.

2. Regular Grade/Preparatory Grade (join in the Chinese students’ class): Offered to the students who are proficient in Chinese and with high academic level at other subjects. During the teaching, teacher will pay attention to the general outline of College Entrance Examination for Foreign Students.

       南昌大学附属中学是江西省重点建设高中，江西省“首批优质高中建设工程”学校，是国家汉办指定的“汉语国际推广中学基地”。
       学校办学历史悠久，在江西省首批大学奠基礼中诞生，伴随着南昌大学发展壮大的步伐前进，在江西省中小学教育教学事业中独树一帜。
       学校位于“物华天宝，人杰地灵”的江西省省会城市——南昌，坐落于人文氛围浓郁的南昌大学，环境优雅，景色秀丽。校园内湖光山色，楼宇轩昂，馆舍错落，曲径通幽。
       学校依托南昌大学雄厚的教育教学资源，拥有一流的教育教学设施，与南昌大学实现了教育教学资源的共享。目前，学校各项设施已全部达到国家重点中学标准。现有学生3500余人，教师200余人。学校自创建以来为国内外输送了大批优秀人才。
       近年来，学校高度重视国际交流与合作，先后与德国、法国、日本、韩国等国家的中学建立了友好姐妹关系，签订了交流教育教学信息、共享教育教学资源、互派教师和留学生的友好协议。2007年，学校被国家汉办指定为“汉语国际推广中学基地”，其职能为接收外国留学生学习汉语课程，帮助海外中学建立汉语课堂并接受外籍汉语教师进行培训。
       我校汉语国际推广基地设备先进，课程合理，师资力量雄厚，膳宿及卫生设施齐全。自今年9月起，学校面向世界招收中学留学生。
　

学制：
三年。每学年分两个学期，上学期9月1日至次年1月左右；下学期2月至6月底。暑假7、8月，寒假在春节前后3周，圣诞节5天，其它假日按国家规定休假。

费用：
（1）申请费：500元人民币；

（2）学费：10000元人民币/学期；

（3）杂费：3000元人民币／学期；

（4）住宿费：2500元人民币/学期。

（5）书费：800元人民币/年。

（6）管理费：2000元/学期。

（7）住宿押金1000元（无损坏公物，离校时退还）。

（8）紧急情况预备金：2000元（无花费，离校时退还）。

招生范围和条件：

1．预备班（汉语培训）设二个级别的教学班：

A．初级班：招收对象为没有学过汉语，或学过少量汉语，汉语表达能力较弱的12岁以上的学生。

B．中级班：招收对象为有一定汉语基础，词汇量为1000个左右，通过我校中级汉语能力测试的12岁以上的学生。

2．大学预科班（实行插班与单独教学相结合的教学方式）：招收对象为熟练掌握汉语，且其他学科优秀的学生。为其顺利进入中国的大学学习打下坚实的基础。
